Cagrisema is a combination medication for the study and control of  type 2 diabetes, consisting of two active ingredients:

• Cagrilintide – A long-acting amylin analogue (similar to the hormone amylin, which helps regulate appetite and blood sugar).

•  – A GLP-1 receptor agonist (which slows gastric emptying, and improves insulin secretion).

How Does CagriSema Work?

• Both ingredients act on brain receptors to increase satiety and reduce hunger.
• Slowed Gastric Emptying – Delays stomach emptying
• Blood Sugar Control – Improves insulin sensitivity and reduces glucagon secretion.
•  Combined effects can lead to significant reductions in body weight.
